And this one is my favorite by far:

Casio Elixim EZ-Z40

I bought it for my wife for Christmas last year, but I used it at Mobius 2004 to test it out for her and fell in love. Its small enough to go anywhere and takes surprisingly great pics. It is about the size of a pack of smokes.

PC Magazine Pros and Cons (I agree 100%)
Pros:Tiny and lightweight. Extended battery life. Very good menu functions and wide variety of preset shooting configurations.

Cons:Average image quality, with noise at some settings.

Bottom line:Despite its diminutive size, this camera has plenty of stamina and in-camera help menus that newbies will appreciate. Its overall score is dragged down a bit by the merely average image quality.
