According to Brighthand.com, we should see an annoucement this coming week…

"After months of anticipation from eager Pocket PC users, Microsoft is expected to officially unveil Windows Mobile 2005 next week.
Bill Gates, Microsoft Chairman and Chief Software Architect, will make a keynote address on the morning of May 10 at the Microsoft Mobile & Embedded DevCon 2005 (MEDC). "

Aparently there are many improvements that this new OS promises including enhanced office functions, better memory handling, and a new ActiveSync. A little birdie tells me that the X button still does not close an application though… ahhhh foot!
