Alienware CE-IV

Alienware’s website now reflects a new addition to its product line: the CE:IV series of portable music players.  Pictured at right, this product is available in 512mb and 1gb varieties that are based upon the same design but a different color scheme.  So what do you get for $170 (1gb)?  You get a 1gb player in a size nearly identical to Creative’s 8gb Zen Micro Photo, but without the photo capabilites (and the color screen), albeit at a lower price ($250 for the Zen).  It’s a decent looking player, but at this price and in such an oversaturated market, Alienware may have a problem on its hands.  Oh well, at least the screen looks nice.
