If you do not already know, Sony was first accused a few months back for not warning customers about their new copy protection system on their music CDs. Sony actually installed hidden software to people’s machines when they inserted the CDs into their computer. This software limited the music playback and controlled what you could do with the music.

But there are groups saying that Sony did not warn customers well enough of what exactly was going on to their machine, and thus this brought up a lawsuit. Now in Texas, a second lawsuit has sprung up over another part of the copy protection system Sony is using. It will be interesting how this one turns out!
