MvpPhoto.jpg OK, My name is Chris Leckness. I along with some of my friends will be your hosts here on the new MobilitySite.com!

Many of you know me already, so do not, so I will introduce myself.

Chris Leckness has been a gadget freak for as long as he can remember. Starting off with a Handmedown Commodore Vic-20, he was an early adopter of the personal computer world.

I was an Electronics Technician in the US Navy for almost 10 years. During my time in the US Navy, I always enjoyed making websites as a hobby. Building a site for anything he was into at the time.

After the Navy, I started work for Bellsouth Telecommunications, where I still works by day. After giving up on the Palm OS in 2002, I bought a Dell Axim X5 and decided to build a site to share my findings as I learned. The site was called, "Aximsite"! Since December 2002, Aximsite.com has helped thousands of users to purchase Axims and me and my users provided tips and support to many more.

Today Aximsite.com has evolved into a large site with 100,000+ members and often times hosts 600-700 users at any given time. Aximsite has become a resource not only for Axim owners, but for any PocketPC user. Future plans include expansion into other devices as well as smartphones and Tablets.

I also run a website similar to Aximsite for the iPaq line of PocketPC, called iPaqHQ.com.

I have a wife, a daughter (11) and a son (3) as well as 2 dogs and 2 cats! I am a huge gadget freak. I have over 20 PocketPC devices, 3 smartphones, 5 MP3 players, 3 Laptops, and more desktops than a family of 20 need. I don’t claim to be an expert, but I sure as hell love technology, gadgets, and the mobile lifestyle!

Ok, many of you know me as the Aximsite guy… I have news for you, while the X51v is a sweet device, I actually carry an iMate Kjam (aka HTC Wizard) now. This is the ultimate PPC Phone! More details on my phone later!
