HP Slips up again. hw6900 PDF online.

hw6900conformity.jpg With all the "HP" driven attention to envangelist websites to try to keep them from leaking info by asking them to sign ridiculous NDAs, HP’s own staff slips up.

A reader on Mobility Today found this document today and linked it in their forums.

The document basicly states that several models of the hw6900 series conforms to a bunch of standards. While the rumors of this product has been no secret, this is the 1st proof of life that is official.

As I posted a couple weeks ago, MikeUnwired reported on this a while back and it seem that the hw6700 series we were waiting on is being scrapped in favor of this. The hw6900 series supposedly will come with Windows Mobile 5 and WiFi this time around.

Rant : When will HP realize that its not the website evangelists that are leaking their secrets, its themselves. Last year, a similar leak was uncovered when other unannounced material showed on their website. This push to shush us evangelists have done two things. #1. They have lost all websites dedicated to their iPaq line. #2. They have pushed us away in a manner at which the other former iPaq only site and this one enjoy finding nuggets like this.
