If you have to choose, which will it be?
In 2007, you WILL have to choose… or charter a jet.

Macworld and CES 2007 are happening the same time next year. Macworld is scheduled for January 8 to 12 and CES 2007 is from January 8 to 11.

I have thought about it and it was a hard choice, but after 10 long seconds, I choose CES 2006.

According to Cnet, this happened in 2002 as well.
"We’ve always had our event in the second week of January, beginning on Monday. They’re the ones who changed the date," said Mike Sponseller, a spokesman for IDG World Expo, operator of Macworld.

CES, which usually kicks off around the second weekend in January, had to go with its 2007 dates because of its contract with the convention center in Las Vegas, noted Leah Arnold, a CES spokeswoman.
