A new product soon to be offered by Nero will provide the Nero Home functionality in Nero 7 to mobile devices.

"With the Nero Home Mobile Edition, we are moving toward the seamless mobility of content accessibility," said Udo Eberlein, President, Nero Inc. "That’s Because the Nero Home Mobile Edition will be the link between the mobile device to the desktop/home world-from automatic detection and discovery of the mobile device to seamless exchange of multimedia content between the PC/Home Media Center and the mobile phone/PDA."

Nero Home Mobile Edition will provide the ability to automatically sync the device when it gets on the network.

To bring up the quality of media on the mobile devices, it will include HE-AAC v2 and MPEG-4 AVC.

Nero is expecting to launch Nero Home Mobile Edition in the first quarter of this year.
