iRadio LogoMotorola is planning a new subscription radio called iRadio.  The first phone that will be able to use it will be the Rokr E2 cell phone, which will be able to use iRadio and play the user’s music files, but will not have the iTunes software.  iRadio will have 435 commercial free radio stations and is an attempt to compete with XM and Sirius satellite radio.

Expected price is $7 a month, depending on the particulars of the subscription.
