treo700w.jpg Only 4 days left till I can get my hands on the new Palm 700w.The 700w will offered 1st by Verizon and to debut at CES 2006 later this week.

Treonauts has a pretty good review of the Treo 700w on their site now. This review is a comparative style review against the Palm OS Treo 650. So, while I am not sure, this may be the authors 1st true experiece with Windows Mobile making him slightly favoring the Palm OS. In part 2 of his review, there is a rethinking of a previous judgement though, which shows me he is fair.

"Following my review of the Treo 700w’s Contacts functionality I’ve spent a lot of time rethinking my comparative rating of “Worse” against the Treo 650 and coming to the conclusion that it should perhaps have been rated as “Equal” or even “Better”."

I should be getting my hands on one of these at CES, possibly to keep. Although I am not a big fan of the square screen, I am really excited about this device.

  • Those reviews are great - lots of details and numerous screenshots. It's kinda cool to see someone who has all good things to say about
ActiveSync. And yeah, you gotta look forward to trying that device out ...
