The Vaja SD card holder is a very cool little accessory, it securely holds
your SD cards and keeps them nice and safe. The I-Volution line is a harder case
that is covered in high quality leather. The case comes in a very nice looking
card board box with Vaja’s name and logo on it. Inside you find the SD card
case, a care manual, the 2 plastic SD card blanks (inside case to protect
slots), and a new product lineup brochure. Everything is very
nicely done and looks extremely professional. Vaja does not skimp on any part of
quality.
This case is no exception to Vaja’s known quality, the leather is amazingly
tough yet soft to the touch. On the front of the case you see Vaja’s logo made
of metal and there is also a lip so that it is easy to open the case. This case
is of a clamshell design that closes via a concealed magnet so there is no snap
closure and it is very easy to use. The inside of the case is also lined with
this premium soft leather and gives the whole case a very professional look. The
magnet is nice and strong so the case does not open accidentally, but not so
strong that it is impossible to open the case easily.
Inside on each side there is room for one SD card (if you go to the 4 SD card
holder there is room for 2 SD cards on each side). The SD cards do not just sit
in a slot, instead they go into a slot that has a mechanical lock and also
ejection. You simple slide the SD card in a ways, then push it in the rest of
the way and it clicks into place just like you are putting a SD card into a PDA.
When you want to retrieve your SD card, you simple push the card lightly and
then it clicks and pops out. This is very nice and you do not have to use your
fingernails to try and pry the card out of the case.
Overall this is an excellent SD card case. It looks very professional, has a
great locking/ejector system, and works great with the magnet. The leather is of
the highest quality and is manufactured perfectly. Anyone that wants a
professional SD card holder should look no farther.
Do note that this case comes in a vast variety of color combinations that you
can see on Vaja’s site. You can even have the inside a different color than the
outside and pick all these colors to customize the case to your style.
