This new USB device is the coolest.  It is a computer mouse, but it filps open to transform into a VoIP phone.  There is not a whole lot of information available about it yet as it only appears on one one of Sony’s websites written in Japanese.

This is a great idea in my opinion; I think it would be perfect for those who travel and want to keep in touch via Skype or Google Talk.  It is shown on Sony’s website in five colors: blue, white, black, red and green.

I really love this device.  I hope it becomes available here because I would love to see if it excels at both tasks, and is as well executed as it has the potential to be.

  • MacVicar, it would still be nice for those who are traveling and using a laptop, as they would still have the touchpad to navigate while using the phone.

Nice idea but not Practical for me. I often need to talk and use the PC. Will be difficult to navigate the mouse while stuck to my ear!
