Xbox 360 Will Play HD-DVDs with Add-on

It\'s is possible that the information within this article is now out of date or updated.

Microsoft has announced that it will release an add-on (read: external) HD-DVD drive for its new Xbox 360 console.  This is great news for those worried that they’d have to buy a standalone HD-DVD player, because now they can simply use their Xbox 360…except that this IS another piece.  Oh well, hopefully it’ll be less expensive than a standalone drive.  Support for games on HD-DVD is still unknown, but don’t overlook another MS surprise.
