I see that Chris passed the N70 along for another perspective. I have been using it now for about a month and have used Series 60 devices for several years. Here are a couple of tips that aren't obvious that may help you out.

(1) After pressing the menu key once and getting into the Menu. Press the soft key for Options and then you can switch to a list view instead of a 3x3 if you like this format better. BTW, in 3x3 view you can simply tap the number keys 1-9 to go to the application without moving around with the directional pad.

(2) This same Options menu allows you to move apps to folders so you can customize the setup of your menu.

(3) When you are at the main display you can press and hold the # key to toggle between the Silent and General profiles.

(4) Go to Tools>Settings>Phone>Standby Mode to customize the left and right soft keys and the applications appearing in the active standby bar. Active standby mode is great on the Nseries devices.

Feel free to email me if you have any specific questions or need assistance with the device.
