eteng500.jpg Another bad boy to look foward to is this one, you’ve seen this one here before when it was announced, but now we have a date!

Want to get excited about these specs again? Why not.

  • Windows Mobile 5.0
  • Samsung S3C2440A – ARM 9 400MHz
  • 128MB ROM FLASH/64 MB RAM
  • 2.8"LCD TFT (64K color) – 320 X 240
  • Quad Band GSM/GPRS Class B (EDGE not sure but confirm no UMTS)
  • Minis-SD Expansion Slot
  • Bluetooth v.1.2 class 2 – support A2DP Profiles
  • GPS – SiRF Star III
  • CMOS 1.3M Camera

When we reported earlier on this, the sources stated that there was no WiFi, Unless Expansys has made a mistake, there is WiFi. If this is true, this devices value goes WAY up in my book!

UPDATE: I think WiFi : Yes, is a mistake on the Expansys site. We’ll see though.

Thanks Ian for letting us know!

yes, I confirm that there is no wifi.
Btw, the G500 is a very fast unit even faster than the M600.
  • Shame that there isn't wireless, that would be the ultimate phone device for me. Wonder why they didn't incorporate wifi in it, surely that is practically standard these days.
