Windows Mobile MVP to try out the Palm OS
After 6 years of not owning or really even touching the Palm OS, I have a Treo 650 on the way. The last time I owned a Palm was the Palm III with a whopping 2mb ram and batteries I had to change more often than socks.
Why?
After testing out the Treo 700w, the 1st Palm Device to use Windows Mobile, I decided that the form factor was as good as all the Treo Fanatics were claiming. Yep, I picked up the 650 on numerous occasions and even made some calls, but never really held it long enough to get a good feel for it. Well, now that I have been tainted with the Palm hardware, I want to check out the software.
I doubt that it will become my daily device, but I am going to play around and familiarize myself with the OS that so many love. I have a feeling I will be going back to my Kjam until the 700w is released with GSM support.
The unit should be here in a couple days and I will keep a diary here of my adventures outside of my realm of Windows Mobile. I am so terrified of other platforms that I am shuffling review units to my other guys to review.
