2660815.jpg Doug Smith puts the novel Socket Mobile Power Pack to the test.

Always have Power on the Go! Charge Socket Products, cell phones, digital cameras, MP3 players, Palms, iPaqs, or any other Pocket PC whether you’re on a plane, train or camping. PDA users will benefit from up to 16 hours of extended power, even while operating with accessories and full backlight.

The Mobile Power Pack by Socket Communications would be a great purchase for anyone not easily accessible to an AC outlet for long periods of time. It is kinda a pricey but given that it can power such a wide variety of devices, it makes the price tag a little easier to handle.
