So you have seen the posts and ads for ESPN Mobile, but what if you want a bigger, better screen for watching TV on your cell?
Well, Samsung has your answer with the SGH-P900 Digital Media Broadcast (DMB) phone.
It looks to me like a cool idea for those that really need their media on the go, but it sure seems like it will be pricey, plus will only be in Europe for its launch.
From MobileWhack.com
You could probably be looking at the hottest gadget to hit Europe in a long long time. It’s Samsung’s gorgeous Samsung SGH-P900 Digital Media Broadcast (DMB) phone with support for Electronic Program Guide (EPG). It’s based on Korean DMB technology that has been adapted to the European broadcast standards.
The highlight of the SGH-P900 is the big horizontal view mode. That should make watching David Beckham’s curling free-kicks a treat to watch when you are on the move. You can even….
record broadcasts for later viewing or else view it on the nearest television set via the TV-out port on the phone. It comes with 100Mb of internal memory, with expansion possible through an external micro-SD slot. Interactive data services are possible as well.
The Samsung SGH-P900 is scheduled to hit European shores in Quarter 2 of 2006. I, for one, can’t wait to get my hands on it. It will be on display at the 3GSM World Congress being held in Barcelona. Hey what about the USA?
