Mobile Whack Review : O2 XDA Atom

closeThis post was published 3 years 8 months 23 days ago which may make its actuality or expire date not be valid anymore. This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.

XdaAtom_info_pic.jpg Mobile Whack tells us what they think of the O2 XDA Atom. It seems the price is a bad selling point to the author as it is quite expensive! For me, the 416mhz processor and the 128mb ROM and 64mb RAm is a big plus! On top of that it’s a small, attactive device.

Overall, it seems that they were not too high on this offering rating it a 7/10.

"Pros : Fast processor, Unique additional software, Size, Quad-wireless capability, Upgraded ROM, FM Radio And Camera with flash.

Cons: Battery life, No hardware softkeys, No speakerphone, No keyboard, Very expensive device."

is it just me or are the many many pocket pc phones that are coming out lately, consistently missing the mark? This oneditches SD for miniSD and kills the stardard headphone jack for the "cellphone" version... these seem like critical mistakes to me...

I'm really hoping someone out there comes up with a pocket pc phone that really fills the obvious void here. That and it comes out in a CDMA version :)
