A nifty new device from Neuros allows to to make your own recordings to view on your Sony PSP or iPod Video, from many different sources.  The Neuros MPEG4 Recorder 2 can record from sources such as DVRs, Cable boxes, satellite recievers, DVD players, camcorders and VCRs.  The resulting videos can then be played back on such devices as the video iPod, Sony PSP, PCs, televisions, and some portable media players.  The videos saved on the recorder can also be saved directly to Memory Stick DUO/Pro DUO or Compact Flash cards, via the included slots on the front. The device can be purchased for a mere $149.99 from Neuros.

  • This is nothing new. There are lots of PVR devices like these.
