neromobile.JPGEveryone loves Nero . . . okay, maybe not everyone. But I am pretty sure everyone will love having Nero on their mobile device.

Nero is previewing Nero Mobile, a state-of-the-art mobile multimedia center for mobile phone, Smartphones and personal digital assistants (PDAs).

The software is a complete mobile media center, allowing users to browse, play and organize media (Photos, Audio and Video clips) on a mobile phone or a PDA by streaming content from a home media center (e.g. Nero MediaHome) over the UPnP protocol. With it, users can also enjoy online Internet radio and TV broadcasts on their handheld devices.

Nero Mobile supports latest codecs supported by Nero Digital, including MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 Video and High Efficiency AAC v2 Audio, MP3, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 SP/ASP, Ogg Vorbis and many more. Consumers are able to play any compatible content they own with ease, and OEM integrators benefit from the wide range of supported coding formats compatible with their service requirements.

Nero Mobile is also optimized for the many hardware platforms powering modern mobile phones, such as Intel XScale, ARM, TI-OMAP and Freescale mx.21. Nero Mobile runs on Windows Mobile, Symbian OS and mobile Linux platforms.
