I noticed a post today over at Experience Mobility (www.experiencemobility.com) that talked about an interesting user group in NYC called NYCDAUG, the New York City Digital Assistant Users’ Group.  Of course I went to see what it was all about and like Jack, I was impressed too.  The NYCDAUG has been around a long time (initially founded in 1994) and focuses on a variety of PDA devices (Palm OS, Windows Mobile/PocketPC, Linux, Psion, Java, Symbian).

When I clicked on the link provided by Experience Mobility, I found

Jerry Gold baum & Sanjay Srikonda, Pocket PC SIG Co-Chairs recapping the events of the meeting.  From reading the minutes, it sounded as if it was a pretty interesting evening from Jerry’s discussion of the K-Jam, the OMAP processor and how well it works in performing the tasks Jerry needs to accomplish to Sanjay’s discussion of the new Palm Treo 700W.  Sanjay had a “short list” of Pros and a “long list” of Cons that I found to be interesting observations.

Sounds as if it was a great meeting and I will have to stop by when I get up to NYC for a visit.  You can read the minutes of the NYCDAUG here (http://www.nycdaug.org/meetminutes.html)
