Jake Richards reviews the new Haicom 406 BTc Bluetooth GPS Receiver with a built in compass.

HI-406BT-C is a GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver in wireless Bluetooth interface with build-in active antenna and extra digital compass functions. With HI-406BT-C, your mobile devices, such as, Smartphone, PocketPC, laptopPC, tabletPC, etc. can receiver GPS data wirelessly and perform the GPS applications, such as, car navigation, personal navigation, route planning, tracking, etc.

"The Haicom 406 BTc receiver is a well-designed and effective GPS receiver with a unique compass mode that could be handy if you need a rough compass heading. The receiver works as advertised, with good battery life. It can be used as a BT GPS, or with the USB cables as a USB GPS. There are other cables available from Haicom that enable serial use as well."
