SonyEricssonBluetoothcarSpeakerHCB100.jpg Sony Ericsson has announced the Bluetooth Car Speakerphone HCB-100, which can be used in car, home or office situations. The HCB-100 is a high performing speakerphone with up to 20 hours talk time and 600 hours standby time. It needs no installation, attaching to the visor of the car with a sturdy clip.

The device weighs only 89 g (3.14 oz) and will be available in black or silver. Clearly distinguishable buttons allow the user to easily handle calls.

With Digital Signal Processing (DSP), digital noise cancellation and echo reduction, the HCB-100 will automatically connect to a mobile phone wirelessly. It is compatible with Bluetooth phones from Sony Ericsson and other brands and using the Color ID feature means it can have up to five different handset connections, allowing multiple connections inside and outside the car.

Sony Ericsson says it is compact and light enough to unclip, pocket and take into the office or home to serve as a desk speakerphone.

This new Bluetooth speakerphone will be available from Q2 2006 and comes with a cigarette Lighter Adapter and standard charger.
