Xbox 360 Goes Promoting on College Campuses

This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.Having recently announced increased supply and a new plethora of games to be released shortly, many more gamers should be adding an Xbox 360 to their collections, a lot of them college students. Microsoft knows this and has been travelling around to roughly 25 colleges with Xbox and Xbox 360 demos and tournaments. Today they stopped by my campus and I took a few pictures for our readers. Read more to check them out.
Plenty of giant TVs for everyone and anything from Top Spin for 360 to Black for original Xbox was up and ready to play.

The focus, of course, was the Xbox 360, with games like Ghost Recon, PGR3, Top Spin II, and Perfect Dark Zero (altough the PD0 game, ironically, was crashed and frozen up). Mountain Dew was there also, if you couldn’t tell by the tables to set your Dew on next to the games.

A few members of the Army were there checking out and showcasing their skills on the Ghost Recon stations as well as the several America’s Army setups. I’m slightly confused about America’s Army being there as it was set up on PCs, but I know the game is coming on Xbox/360, so maybe they were just attracting attention. Who knows.

All in all, not a bad setup. I took these pictures a little before it officially opened to spare you the mess of people. The setups were pretty nice, all the 360s were premium systems. TVs were something like 32” Widescreen LCDs and they had an "Ultimate Entertainment Room" or something like that set up with a gigantic (about 62”) Pioneer plasma TV, surround sound, HP Media Center PC, and various other technological touches. Not bad.
