XP on New Intel Macs?

It\'s is possible that the information within this article is now out of date or updated.

This may not have much to do with Mobile Devices, but I have been watching the contest to get Windows XP to run on a new Intel Mac very closely.

Colin started the contest to see who the first (if any) would be to get Windows XP to boot on the new Intel Macs. Since he started the donation site, the pot has been raised to $12,994 (as of today) that goes to "the person / group that can make dual-booting Mac OS X and Windows XP happen on an Intel Mac".

The latest news is that a person going by the name "narf2006" has found a way to do it and posted some screenshots about it. Many thought that these could be photoshopped or fake, but now to further add to the question, he has released a video of XP booting on the Mac.

I am still on the fence whether this is real or not. Who knows, it could be really real and "narf2006" could have just won himself around $12,000, but that thought is still in my mind that it could be a fake and he could be just using the Mac as a monitor or some other crazy scheme. You never know with $12,000 on the line!

But before the $12,000 is just handed out, Colin has to check it out and make sure that it really is true, so once Colin checks it out, that will be when we know if it is truly an XP Mac or if it is just another fake.
