hx2790.jpg Apparently last week when this series of three iPAQ handhelds received an announced boost in internal memory, the top of the line model did not show an increase. PDA Live.com is reporting that the iPAQ , which already sports 192mb, is getting an upgrade as well that would make it 320mb.

Surprisingly, the revamped version of the iPAQ hx2790 is likely to have a significant improvement over the original one. HP UK and HP France state the handheld is equipped with 320 MB ROM (approximately 256 MB available to the user), in contrast to former 192 MB. The company’s other international websites show original specifications, though.

They realize over at PDA Live that this may be an error, but let’s all hope not. This would be one of HP’s only good moves lately.
