Samsung’s new YP-U2X is cute as a button

samsung_ypu2.jpg This cute little flash player that plugs directly into a USB slot is available in the US now.

Play MP3s of your favorite band with this MP3 player that also doubles as an external hard drive for file storage. A built-in FM tuner and voice recorder further show off this player’s functionality.

  • 512MB internal flash memory
  • Ultrathin design measures just 1" deep and weighs only 1 oz.
  • Supports MP3, WMA, WMA-DR10, ASF and WAV formats

The Best Buy website doesn’t mention it (oops. I missed it), but something about this little player that I think is huge is that it supports Microsoft’s Plays for Sure. Why is this huge? For me, it is since I use Yahoo Music Engine for my music needs. I can sync all I can eat to a Plays for Sure device.
