The $29.99 T-Mobile SDA is in!

If you remember, Amazon was running a promo where you could get an SDA for only $29.99 after rebate. The phone arrived Saturday and it seems solid. Now on to step 2, waiting on the rebate check.

Only having this phone for a day now, I am convinced that the smartphone platform is not for me. The SDA has a super nice screen and the phone’s radio is excellent, but other than than a great phone, a quick processor, and great contact management, it’s just a phone to me. I have to have a touchscreen to fit my converged needs. Don’t get me wrong, the SDA is a solid Smartphone, but it’s not what I need. I know, I know, "why did you get it?" I got it because I needed T-Mobile service anyhow and why not get a phone for $29.99! I have the Motorola MPx220 and the Orange SPV500 smartphones, but I can not do the T9 thing.
