TV Guide Mobile Entertainment, Inc. announced that it will enhance the entertainment options available on Cingular Wireless handsets. Through Cingular Wireless’ streaming video service, Cingular Video, subscribers will now have the opportunity to access a mobile, on demand version of TV Guide Channel(R) while on the go. In addition, Cingular and TV Guide Mobile Entertainment have signed an agreement under which TV Guide will deliver additional products and services to Cingular devices.

"As part of our goal to become the leading cross-platform consumer hub for video guidance, we are excited to be partnering with Cingular to offer consumers, who are passionate about television, access to exclusive TV Guide Channel(R) content almost whenever and wherever they want it," said Rich Cusick, senior vice president and general manager, Digital Media, Gemstar-TV Guide. "Enhancing the personal mobile entertainment experience of Cingular users across the country is in keeping with our strategy to integrate the TV Guide brand, content and technology across multiple platforms."

Cingular Video and TV Guide Channel(R) provide more of the content that consumers want to see. With a wide, diverse selection of video, Cingular subscribers have access to short form, original content that highlights and reviews the best shows and movies on TV.

This agreement with Cingular builds upon the initial release of the TV Guide Mobile(TM) launched during the second half of 2005, and now available on a range of carriers and handsets.
