Not sure when this will be available, but Eye-Fi has found a way to combine WiFi and a tiny flash memory card, enabling devices such as cameras to be retrofitted for Wifi capability. The first product will be a 1 GB Secure Digital memory card which is expected to sell for about $100. Using the card, you will be able to upload the photos stored on it directly from your camera to your WiFi equipped computer, cable free. There are supposedly working prototypes already in existence. Sounds like a good deal to me- I can’t wait to see this in action.
