It\'s is possible that the information within this article is now out of date or updated.

What do you get when you take two of the most popular converged devices and combine them? The Jas Jam! First off, I don’t know if this name is official, but it sure looks that way. It appears that this device is taking a name spin from the Jas Jar and the Kjam/Jam line of i-mate devices.

What is the Jas Jam? It is what I have been waiting for! It’s the i-mate version of the HTC Hermes design. This design is a retooled HTC Wizard, which happens to be my favorite form factor to date.

This website has slipped up and let the cat out of the bag it seems. If I am not mistaken, this is the official i-mate online store, but I could be wrong. Anyhow, the page shows the device in stock, but I am sure it’s not!

I wish there would be some way of knowing if Cingular is going to get this! I have an upgrade available and it would save me a TON of money over buying the i-mate for 800 BUCKS!

      No GPS?
This would be a "killer" if GPS was included too....

I have been held up on making my converged device purchase because of this! I had hoped that Cingular would come out with it, but it would probably take them forever to do.

      Great Post Chris!
