A few days ago I commented about the Celio Redfly adding support for BlackBerrys. I came across that bit of information first while researching to purchase a Celio RedFly myself and then while I’ve been …

Some think it is! It has a lot of features…like a very cool QWERTY keypad. But is this enough for you?

Check out what Sascha Segan from PC magazine has to say. In part, Sascha says:

It’s the Q, the Motorola Q. The RAZR-thin Motorola Q is the coolest smartphone in America. It’s a terrific voice phone, a dandy music player, and a swell e-mail machine. Just be warned: Expensive service plans mean it isn’t as cheap as it appears.

Not for me either, especially lack of WiFi and bad screen, and on top of all Motorola brand is not much promising either. I think it was just hyped up too much. Why not go with a HP rather than this one? Verizon is doing a good job blowing their baloon, only until it pops.
  • I agree Doug with the fact that the Hermes will better suit my need, BUT... I think this device will out sell the 700p, 700w, and the Hermes variants due out soon.

I honestly think the Q will be a milestone device. I think the milestone that it will set will be that it will be the phone to bring Palm and Blackberry users into our tangeld web of deceipt.

On another subject, I was impressed with Sasha's review, this time. This was one of the better reviews from PC Mag I've seen.

Not for me. The HTC Hermes by far and away IMO surpasses the "Q". The "Q" for me has too small a screen to be functional. Also, the HErmes will have a way better camera. I also look for the 6915 to make some waves with a very improved GPS intergrated in. Bigger screen but with poor(r) resolution. It has the same qwerty keyboard.
