"New Spin on Thin Delivers Style Packed With Premium Multimedia Features" says Samsung’s press release on T-Mobile web site. Phone is now available for new customers online for $50 after mail-in rebates and instant discounts, and it is also available for existing customers through handset upgrade program. There are several authorized dealers, including CompUSA who provide the phone for less, under most circumstances free after mail-in rebates. Most notable spec of the phone is that it is 9.8 mm thin, that is 0.385 inches, and supports a VGA Camera. The camera quality on Samsungs have alwasy been superior to Motorola or others, when they are in the same range, however connectivity has always been an issue with Samsung handsets, mainly due to the reason that they lack direct IrDA connectivity without special software or even simple USB connection. It seems like this was solved, since USB Connection was added to the phone. Another notable features is that phone comes with over 64MB of on board memory, more than enough for long video sessions, or numerous pictures. Screen is bright, 65K TFT with resolution of 176 x 220 pixels.  It is Tri-Band, so it can be used at various international networks.  I guess some people will be sad to hear about this release, after complaining that T-Mobile did not have variety of phones, or lacked quality handsets. After releases of SDA, MDA, cheaper-than-Cingular RAZR phones, and finally thinnest Samsung. Are you one of those who regret switching to another carrier?
