The Motorola Q Saga has been a painful journey and I am glad to see this journey almost over. It all started with the Rumors late last year. Then CES 2006, a Microsoft Exec and Dale Coffing teased us all by carrying a Q around with them. I also got an opportunity to get a nice early look at the Q at CES with a one on one hands on with Microsoft.

Well the rumors of when it would drop and who would get it has gone on for months. Some started calling the Q the next MPX. It will be announce next week, no… now its delayed indefinitely. Rumors and Rumors. Well its here now. It was announced Monday and some people are getting demos already. Hell, I even got an email from Kevin Leckner, VP of Starline Films with info.

The Journey is now near completion. Peter Rojas, fellow Mobian, has photos of his unboxing ritual (which has Josh Bancroft has recently decided to glorify with unboxing.com) at Engadget.com

Peter also mentioned that the Q is much better than the preproduction model they received a while back!

We will be getting our hands on one soon enough. Stay Tuned.
