This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.A few days ago, I made some comments about the iPod and how I consider it the best MP3 player available today. I base that feeling on the number of user sites that have popped up all over the Internet. These sites were created by users without any support (and sometimes in spite of) the manufacturer. One of the most popular, and my particular favorites is named iLounge (formerly known as iPodLounge).

What is it that makes this site so good? Several reasons make it so. For one, they are consistently on top of the latest products, both from Apple but also the after market manufacturers. There is also quite extensive how-to sections covering all makes and models. In fact, they have a special downloadable magazine called The Free iPod Book. It is updated regularly, at least quarterly.

Another interesting feature is the iPods From Around the World. It features user-submitted photos with their iPods taken just about anywhere you can take one. Pictures from North America, South America, the Middle East, and even Antarctica. It is amazing how many people takes these little things with them where ever they go.

This site is more than just a "rah-rah let’s promote the iPod" website. It consistently has well written and well researched articles, and if a product is bad, they say so. There are also opportunities for reader interaction with the reviews and reviewers. If you are an iPod owner, this is one site to bookmark. If you are thinking about getting one, spending some time here will answer just about any of your questions, and help you to make up your mind.
