It\'s is possible that the information within this article is now out of date or updated.

This is for the man / farther who has everything, a torch that can be programmed over a usb port.
Tired of those simple on off buttons then the Indium SMART is for you.

The Indium SMART is a revolutionary step in flashlight design, the web site talks about the varied ways of charging via usb, batteries or car power outlets. it goes on to mention the design and how it can be interchanged with existing and new un-released products to create a unique torch, but this is just leading up to the good stuff.

The torch has a customizable user interface, which is programmed from a PC via a USB connection. This allows the user to configure the flashlight to behave exactly how they desire. Complex sequences of strobes, fades and Morse code can be programmed into the torch using various levels of brightness. A whole host of other user programmable features, such as variable gamma correction and the ability to set the maximum LED drive current anywhere between 0 and 1500mA.

I have no need for such a toy, for the last 30 years I have survived with a simple on / off function, I just NEED it …..
