John Clyman from PC magazine did a short review of Microsoft Vista beta2 that is worth reading. John’s bottom line was that with this release, the upcoming OS is essentially feature-complete, and overall, it looks good, although the improved security can be intrusive.

He likes the good-looking interface and feels there is much easier navigation. John feels that security is much better than in previous Microsoft operating systems. Of course, there are always the dislikes when doing a review and this is no different. He dislikes the heavy system requirements, feels that security gets in the way and it may not support some devices. And of course it has "bugs" but it is a beta!

This a good, quick read that will help you in a basic understanding on where we will be coming early next year. You can read John’s article here at PC magazine.
