Thanks Jack for an informative video. In fact, as i’m typing this, I’m listening to the mm28 via my I-book. The sound is great whether I’m listening through my I-book or Ipod. After seeing your video and researching this product, I went to J & R Music world to purchase it. I’ve had it about two weeks, and am on my second set of batteries. The only two cons about it are 1.wire length, and 2. no way to tell if the battery is low, except that it keeps cutting off, and the blue light dims. Overall a great product.

Thanks Simon…I appreciate the kind remarks. I have been using the device for a couple of weeks and am amazed at its power and am particularly pleased with the length of time the batteries last. I have replaced them three times and in each case, I have had in excess of 45 hours of listening pleasure….pretty cool!

Yes that was a bit of distortion but NOT from the speaker…I believe it occured with my old VCR that was used to record. I have not noticed any distortion from these speakers.

It would be nice to have BT…..who knows, maybe on the next iteration it will appear.

Battery life on the PDA does limit you but you will have the comfort of long battery life with the speakers…..

Great review- really like the true 1st impression format!

Are there any plans for a Bluetooth model? Would be nice to have the PDA connected to AC power, and be able to move the speakers wherever you want. 45 hour battery life is great, but you’re still limited by PDA battery life.

And was that some distortion I heard at the 7:30 point?

Thanks Rick! I am really enjoying it. Yesterday, I had it playing NON-STOP for 12 hours…perfect.

I am testing just to see how close to the 45 hours it will come using just “copper top” batteries….if it comes close, I can’t imagine what the ULTRA batteries would give.
