Toshiba Gigabeat S competition for iPod?

Toshiba has a reputation for putting out quality electronic products. Look at their lines of laptop computers and handheld PDA devices. Now that they have entered the portable music market, will they be any match for the benchmark standard iPod?

 The new Gigabeat S series looks promising but only time will tell. Read James Kim’s excellent review of the white 30gb version on the ZDNet website. I think you will find it revealing. I am sure that Apple did.
