		<description>The PC mag article informative and somewhat interesting does references an unlocker utility on XDA-developer.

If your interested in that utility, save your time.  Look at the first XDA page, it references two flavors (generic or hermes).  Read each one of those branches first.  It aparently does do a plethora of phones.  The thread is very OLD.  It stretches from 2003-2008.  And mostly lazy &quot;will it work with my crap?&quot; comments.  Around page 125 an HTC 8525 endorses it so todays cingular tilt falls in that catagory.  It may be easier to just cruise into the ATT store and have it unlocked because you want it unlocked.</description>
