I have a reputation in my social circle of being a geek, a nerd, the computer go-to guy, the man with all the answers. If they only knew that under that outward look of confidence there lurks a nervous personality that is hoping only that the darn thing will work the next time I turn it on. I don’t claim to be an expert, but to the non-techies I know, I suppose I do know a thing or two. But it’s always nice to have a fall back plan, or a place to go to where you can find the information that you need. Many websites are around that can provide that zone of comfort. I came across on that I have have visited for years, Tom’s Hardware.

I just happened to catch that they have resurrected their FAQ feature, and it is highlighting Wireless Networks and their setup and configuration. Great primer for the uniniated, or for those of use who are always second guess what we’re doing. Check this site out, and maybe you can become your social circle’s techno-geek.
