A Good Case is Hard to Find

It\'s is possible that the information within this article is now out of date or updated.

I recently changed cell phones, switching from a T-Mobile MDA Pocket PC to an SDA SmartPhone. More on the reasons in another article, but I have had a pleasant experience in looking for accessories that I thought was worth sharing.

I have phobia about my portable electronic devices (my wife calls them toys). I want them to be as protected as possible and still remain fully functional. Hey, if I’m paying $300 for an iPod or PDA, then I want to protect that investment. When I switched to the SDA, I thought I would never find the perfect case. But I was wrong. Thanks to the magic of a Google search, I found not one but two cases that will offer both protection and functionality.

One is a glove fit case that has plastic protection of both the keypad and the screen. The second case offers protection of the screen but gives free access to the keys. Both are available with one of two clips on the back, or no clip at all. There is also some custom colored cases that you can order as well.

Both cases are available for under $30.00 from the manufacturer Fortte who as a good reputation for  quality cases and holder. I haven’t decided on which one to order, but am leaning towards the glove fit. I like the Open Face model, but am concerned about how sturdy the bottom clip that holds it in is. I will share my opinions after I get one, so stay tuned for more.
