….for you to WIN the Microsoft "You and Your (Virtual) UMPC" Contest

There has been a lot of talk about these devices and admit it, you have considered it…I think all of us have. But the cost…maybe just a bit more than what you want to spend right now…but there is a solution to that problem because the Origami Project has a way for you to win some cash to put towards that coveted device!

From the Origami site:

Now that you have had a chance to read many articles and posts on the device, or in some cases actually use or own one, we wanted to give you an opportunity to express how you think this device might change, help, or enhance your lifestyle. Grab your camera, get the creative juices flowing, and submit a photo for a chance to win some cash to put towards the purchase of your very own UMPC device.

Submit a photo (no more then 1 MB in size) that depicts the potential power of a UMPC. You do not necessarily have to be in the picture – and though it would be great to include if you have one, you don’t have to feature an authentic UMPC to qualify. We are looking for entries that creatively demonstrate the potential of the UMPC to break the boundaries of PC capabilities in more mobile situations. The picture should illustrate how your life or lifestyle is or could be enhanced by a UMPC.

Send your entry to umpcpro@microsoft.com by midnight PT on 7/23/2006. Winners will be announced on the site on or about 8/4/2006.

Check it out—enter—and WIN!
