Thankyou C/NET for World Cup Coverage

I have to admit that during the World Cup this year, C/Net has sparked an interest in me with some of their posting of news. I was extremely pleased with something I saw today and wanted to share it with those of you that are World Cup fans.

World Cup downloads

The FIFA World Cup 2006 has literally reached its last legs. Once the titanic battle between Les Bleus (France) and the Azzurri (Italy) is concluded on July 9, woebegone devotees of the beautiful game will have to wait another 4 years for the next game. Although this year’s Cup is only the 18th ever, the tournament has already established itself as the granddaddy of all sporting events, due to the size of the audience and the wild passion of the fans. Follow the last of the football extravaganza with a collection of World Cup-inspired software and games.
