A few days ago I commented about the Celio Redfly adding support for BlackBerrys. I came across that bit of information first while researching to purchase a Celio RedFly myself and then while I’ve been …

So you have heard the hype on Broken Sword and I certainly was part of it.  It has been an incredible RPG to play.  Up until yesterday, I have been playing the game on my JasJar and have enjoyed it immensely.

But that has changed….YES…changed!  I thought that the experience could not get better but I was sadly mistaken.  You see, like many of you, when the WM5 upgrade came for the 4700 I upgraded.  And like many of you, I was so disappointed!  I thought I had a brick.  Oh I suppose I could have brought it back to 2003 but I never did.  I just kept trying the tips and tricks that Werner was so gracious to spend hours and hours on.  But still, I was never quite happy…it just seemed to be a brick!  So, I sort of semi-retired it and spent most of my time with the JasJar, K-Jam and my new Palm and would occasionaly go back and try a few more tweaks.

But HP came back to life!  They have worked on a ROM fix, finally posted it and I installed it.  So far…so good!  There has been a noticible change and my beloved 4700 just may have a second wind!  So this morning I installed Broken Sword on my 4700 and all I can say is WOW!

The 4700 is working like a charm and the display of Broken Sword is undisputedly the absolute best!  Just an awesome gaming experience….I’m surprised that I took a break to put this post up but it was 3pm and I had spent the past 4 straight hours on the game!

If you have not tried it, I encourage you to do so and of course, what is special is that you can download a trial version (14.9 MB)…. I have no question in my mind that you will purchase the full version for $29.99

BUT, there is a  Limited Time Offer:
Members of Club Astraware can login and get Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars for just $29.95 $19.95.  That is VERY COOL!

  • It has been a fun game to play. You get so "into" it that you don't want to put it down.
