It\'s is possible that the information within this article is now out of date or updated.

Here is another iPod docking solution.
This part of the market is getting pretty saturated so the new comers are starting to get a bit wild with the design to catch the eye.

Available in black or white, the iPod fits  into the top of what can only be described as a large Ball. The design TBH is cool, and the level of detail makes it pleasing to the eyes. I can see this being pushed at the younger iPod owner rather than something to have sitting on your kitchen table.

performance is very good offering a good range of bass and treble and the unit comes with a remote control to allow full control of the 2 x 7.5 watt stereo speakers plus 15 watt subwoofer .

from the website:

  • Stylish and compact 2.1 system for iPOD, MP3 and other audio devices
  • 2 x 7.5 watt stereo speakers plus 15 watt subwoofer
  •  Synchronise and charge your iPOD via the dock connector* (*NB not shuffle)
  • USB mini B & Firewire for connecting to PC
  • 3.5 mm stereo line in for connecting all other audio devices
  • Adjustable treble & Bass
  • Remote control
  • Mains powered (External AC Adaptor)

iDS-02
The compact iDS-02 surround-sound system packs in the latest technology to deliver great volume, plenty of detail and excellent bass response. Its sleek design and smooth lines will look great wherever you use it. And what’s more, all Intempo products are covered by our ‘Safe and Sound’ warranty which offers peace of mind via its excellent guarantee and friendly helpline.
