Sony Corporation has long had a reputation for innovation, quality, and ingenuity. But I have noticed over the past several years that they seem to be stagnated and not in the forefront of technology. I guess I’m still ticked off that they pulled the plug on their Clie line of PDAs. But I don’t seem to be the only one who is noticing this decline. In his latest column, PC Magazine’s John Dvorak (one of the best writers in the PC world, IMHO) takes a look at Sony, and their technological shortcomings. Interesting topic, interesting article, interesting conclusions.
