If man can make it then man can break it!

I’m not sure if we will ever attain an OS that is absolutely secure. I tend to think that that is a dream. Joris Evers from CNET News.com reported in an article, Vista hacked at Black Hat that while Microsoft hyped Windows Vista security at Black Hat, there was a researcher in another room demonstrating how to hack the operating system. Can you believe it? Here was a researcher showing how to bypass security measures in Vista allowing unsigned code to run. The researcher code-named the malicious software Blue Pill.

"Microsoft is investigating solutions for the final release of Windows Vista to help protect against the attacks demonstrated," a representative for the software maker said. "In addition, we are working with our hardware partners to investigate ways to help prevent the virtualization attack used by the Blue Pill."
