Last Friday, California Governor Schwarzenegger signed SB 1613 into law, which requires California drivers to use a hands-free headset or in-car system when speaking on cell phones while operating vehicles. BLUETOOTH wireless technology provides three ways for California drivers to comply with the new law:

1) use of a BLUETOOTH wireless headset with cell phone

2) use of an after-market car kit to speak hands-free,

3) use of car with BLUETOOTH built in for hands-free talking over stereo system.

Using BLUETOOTH cell phones with any of these three hands-free options gives drivers the freedom to stay connected while driving.
